Ms. Zurla is an experienced educator and passionate leader, currently fulfilling her lifelong dream of working as an Assistant Principal! With over 13 years of teaching experience, primarily in the South Bronx, Nicole has worked with students at the elementary level, where she has developed a reputation as a dedicated and compassionate educator.

Ms. Zurla holds an undergraduate degree from SUNY New Paltz and a Master’s in Technology, which has allowed her to effectively integrate innovative educational tools into the classroom. She also holds advanced certifications in Special Education and School Leadership.

Ms. Zurla is not only passionate about giving back to her community and working to ensure that every student has the tools and support they need to succeed, but also deeply committed to creating inclusive learning environments that meet the diverse needs of all students and empower them to reach their full potential.
